CAAR-ACRA is the Canadian Association for Aerosol Research – Association canadienne pour la recherche sur les aérosols.

We are a community of aerosol researchers including government scientists; university professors, postdocs, and students; and industry professionals.

Our work is related to air pollution, airborne diseases, indoor air quality, climate, combustion science, medicine, and materials science. In all of these fields, aerosols play an essential role. Aerosol science is the study of liquid and solid nanoparticles suspended in gases, and is what unites us.

CAAR-ACRA is organized by a volunteer committee formed by its members.  To share a suggestion, seminar idea, or to participate, email us at caar.acra.canada at gmail dot com.

Our organizational by-laws are posted online here.

The organizing committee for the Canadian Aerosol Conference comprises Dr. Joel CorbinProfessor José Morán, Professor Paul George, and Professor Pourya Shahpoury.

CAAR-ACRA has its own student chapter. Email us to get in touch.
